“For us humans, promises were made to be broken, but for God, it’s something that should be kept and fulfilled.”

Last July 16, 2016, St. Joseph’s School of Mactan celebrated the Holy Mass. It was presided by Rev. Fr. Bench Balsamo, MSC, the Sto. Nino de Cebu-Mactan Parish priest. The Knights of the Altar members also had their renewal of vows as a sign of their yearly commitment and loyalty as the altar servers of God.  The whole school was rejoicing. Souls were nourished and vows were refreshed. Before the Mass ended, the birthday celebrators for the month of July were invited to go to the front for the birthday blessings initiated by Fr. Bench Balsamo, MSC.

After the Mass, it was the time for the newly elected officers to take their oaths. The Supreme Student Government, Supreme Pupil Government, classroom, club and ACP officers had their oath taking that was led by Sr. Agnes V. Labitoria, SFIC, SJSM BED Principal. The whole SJSM community could really behold in their eyes their determination and commitment with their assigned position. There is that “ready-to-serve” aura encircling their body.

Applauses and cheers echoed around the four-walled auditorium. The program was ended witn Aerobics presentation which was led by Sir Mark Vincent Guinitaran where the entire SJSM Community joined the dance number and went out from the auditorium with elated faces.
