As the saying goes, Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten. On the sunny day of December 08, 2015, the SJSM community had a 3-in-1 celebration; the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, SFIC feast day, and the Family day which served as the highlight for that day. It started with the registration of each family upon which, the PFC club gave a prize to the first 5 families to arrive and was followed by the Holy Mass.

The program proper was full of fun, excitement, and love. Everyone was welcomed by the energetic performance from the PFC members followed by the various performances from the students, teachers, and from the parents as well. Aside from the warm, fuzzy feeling from the families, one could also feel the Christmas spirit during the celebration. The students even had a chance to give a simple token to their parents as a way of saying Thank you. A simple “salo-salo” lunch took part per batch together with their respective advisers and families. Everyone also had a chance to participate in the different games prepared for them.

But all good things must come to an end. Aside from the exciting “Rolleta” prepared by the SDC, the SJSM Family Day officially ended with the closing remarks from Sr. Agnes Labitoria. Indeed, it was truly a remarkable day and it wouldn’t be possible without the help from everyone and most especially from God. To God be the Glory!
