“We come to serve and not to be served” this means that we are all called to serve the Lord. That as all play an important role and mission in the world we’re living and as we celebrate the Year of The Laity, may we come as one together with the Lord.

Last July 11, 2014 selected students were called to be part to serve the Lord. The students were all gathered to witness the Investiture of the Knights of the Altar. The said celebration was not only for the newly appointed altar servers’ investiture but an inauguration, their baptism on becoming God’s trusted stewards. All of them stood willingly to be vested and beside them were their proud parents to witness their sons’ blessings. These students were called to serve to the Lord with all their heart and soul and through this investiture they were welcome to their new family as Knights of the Altar. This wonderful celebration was also a call for us; A call for us to be as one with God and as the newly appointed “instruments” of God. Let’s keep in mind that It’s not only the altar servers were called to be as one with God but also us. Let us be a good steward of God’s creation. Let us help build back our Lost Paradise because we are only here to take care of our responsibility and most of all to serve.
