The SJSM celebrated the Career Week, a project of the Peer Facilitator’s Club, spearheaded by Sr. Nancy Bacan, SFIC. The week-long festivity aimed to raise awareness on the importance of choosing your career path wisely. Although it was mostly aimed at the Senior Students, spotlight was given to all students and pupils of all levels.
The day started with everyone tasked to wear the work clothes of the profession they wish to take in the future. After grouping participants according to generic professions (ex. Medical, Engineering), a parade outside of school began.
A formal program started, with lots of fun intermission numbers and activities. Booths, in tribute of different career fields, were open to the public for viewing.
Invited guests and speakers came as well, to speak to the future graduates about major career-moves and how our choices affect our future.
