The 6th graders had their first retreat – a date with God – from February 6-7, 2017 (St. John) and February 7-8, 2017 (St. Fidelis) facilitated by Brother Joshue Fernandez and Brother Michael Banting at the Holy Family Redemptorist Retreat House in Lahug.

During the said retreat, the pupils were able to reconnect with God, heal their wounds, understand one another, and strengthen their relationship with their families especially their parents through a spiritual talk and sharing of experiences.

According to most of the pupils, they were able to appreciate God and their parents more because of the retreat. They were able to let out their emotions without being judged by others. They even had fun and were indeed overjoyed throughout the intimate retreat.

This would not have been possible without the guidance of the CFP Office headed by Sr Melanie Galo, SFIC, the facilitators, Mr Frederiko Vecina,  the advisers – Ms Kara Bagunas and Ms Lenelda Inting, the pupils’ parents,  and the pupils’ willingness to participate in the said event.
